About Christoph

Christoph Schlomberg
Christoph Schlomberg was born in Düsseldorf in 1990. At the age of six he had his first violin lessons. From 2003 to 2009 he was a pupil of Georgi Tilev, former first concert master of the Niederrheinische Sinfoniker. He was winner of numerous prizes in the competition Jugend Musiziert on regional, state and national levels. From 2007 to 2009 he was a member of the Bundesjugendorchester (German National Youth Orchester).

In 2006 Christoph Schlomberg won the International Music Competition in Castrovillari, Italy. He has attended masterclasses with Professors Th. Brandis and G. Košuta.

Christoph Schlomberg has been studying at the Music Academy in Cologne since 2009 and was, until summer 2013, in the class of Professor G. Košuta. He has gathered practical orchestra experience playing with the Gürzenich-Orchestra Cologne and the Niederreinische Sinfoniker.
